Entry into Argentina only with valid health insurance

As of July 1st 2025, all foreign travelers entering Argentina will be required to provide proof of valid health insurance. Tourists should be prepared to present documentation at all official entry points.
Specifically, travelers must provide:
a sworn statement declaring the purpose of travel
proof of insurance covering at least the following services:
basic medical care
hospital coverage
24/7 emergency assistance
medical transfer or possible evacuation
The insurance must be valid for the entire duration of the planned stay.
Anyone who fails to present these documents upon entry may be denied entry into the country. This new regulation is part of the government’s immigration reform.
