Day 1: Arrival by night flight
You depart from Luxembourg and arrive in Hanoi after a stopover.
Days 2 to 4: Hanoi

Xin chào – A Warm Welcome to Vietnam!
Day 2 – Arrival in Hanoi
On the second day of your journey, you arrive in Hanoi, where you will be warmly welcomed by your local tour guide. A private transfer takes you to the city center for check-in at your hotel.
The rest of the day is at your leisure – the perfect opportunity to unwind and recover from your long journey.
Day 3 – The Soul of the Capital: Hanoi City Tour & Street Food Discovery
Wake up in the heart of the Old Quarter and witness how the streets of Vietnam’s capital gradually come to life. A full-day city tour immerses you in the history, culture, and rhythm of Hanoi.
The day begins at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, the Presidential Palace, and the striking One Pillar Pagoda.
You then visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070 – initially reserved for members of the royal family and later open to sons of noble families.
After lunch, take a walk through the Old Quarter with its 36 historic guild streets and visit a beautifully preserved traditional house on Ma May Street. You’ll also stop by the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake, cross the vibrant red Huc Bridge, and explore the Ngoc Son Temple.
Back at the hotel, take some time to refresh before heading out in the evening for a culinary discovery tour through the streets of Hanoi. With your guide, stroll through the bustling alleyways of the Old Quarter and explore the variety of Vietnamese street food – tasting whatever piques your interest, from delicate bánh cuốn to flavorful noodle specialties.
To end the evening, enjoy a cold local beer in one of the city’s typical "bia hoi" bars – perhaps even while chatting with some of the locals.
Day 4 – Day Trip to Ninh Binh: Temples, Panoramas & River Landscapes
Today, a full-day excursion takes you to Ninh Binh, a spectacular karst landscape in northern Vietnam.
Your first stop is Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dai Co Viet Kingdom in the 10th century. Next, things get a bit more active: you’ll climb around 500 stone steps to reach the viewpoint above Mua Cave, where you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama over dramatic limestone cliffs and the Ngo Dong River.
After lunch, embark on a traditional rowing boat ride through the serene waterways of Tam Coc, often referred to as the "dry Halong Bay" for its striking beauty.
To finish the day, visit the peaceful and scenic Bich Dong Pagoda, nestled into the rock face, before returning to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Cruise aboard the Victory Star

Halong Bay Cruise: Nature’s Masterpiece
Transfer to the pier and board your cruise ship, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Halong Bay, famous for its majestic limestone formations rising from the emerald waters.
During the cruise, take part in an excursion by bamboo boat or kayak to get even closer to the natural wonders of the bay.
At Titop Island, you’ll have time to climb to the viewpoint, relax on the beach, or go for a refreshing swim in the calm sea.
In the evening, try your hand at squid fishing – a unique and fun activity under the stars.

Day 6: Hue

From Halong Bay to the Imperial City of Hue
After a magical sunrise over the limestone peaks of Halong Bay, you’ll visit the impressive Sung Sot Cave, also known as the “Surprise Cave” – one of the most magnificent grottoes in the bay.
After the visit, you’ll check out and return to Hanoi for your domestic flight to Hue.
Upon arrival in Vietnam’s former imperial capital, a private transfer takes you to the Eldora Hotel – a stylish luxury retreat in the very heart of Hue.

Days 7 to 9: Hoi An

Day 7 – Imperial Hue & Journey to Hoi An
After breakfast, your day begins with a visit to the bustling Dong Ba Market, the largest market in Hue, where locals shop for everything from fresh produce to traditional clothing.
You’ll then explore the grand Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, once the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty, which ruled Vietnam from 1802 to 1945. This impressive complex offers deep insight into the country’s imperial history.
After lunch, embark on a scenic dragon boat cruise along the Perfume River, leading you to the Thien Mu Pagoda, built in 1601.
Its distinctive 21-meter octagonal tower, added in 1844, remains one of Hue’s most iconic landmarks.
Before continuing south, visit the ornate tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, known for its unique blend of traditional Vietnamese and European architecture. Your journey then takes you over the scenic Hai Van Pass, one of Vietnam’s most spectacular coastal roads.
En route, stop at the peaceful Lap An Lagoon, a perfect spot for photos and a moment of quiet reflection.
Day 8 – Hoi An: Markets, Farming & Timeless Charm
In the morning, set off by bicycle to the central market of Hoi An, once a flourishing international trading port. From there, ride to the nearby Tra Que Vegetable Village, where you’ll gain hands-on insight into traditional Vietnamese farming methods: raking, sowing, watering, and harvesting – all still done by hand.
If you wish, you are welcome to take part in the work and learn directly from local farmers. To relax after your efforts, enjoy a foot massage, followed by a cooking class led by a local chef. You’ll prepare and enjoy several traditional Vietnamese dishes together in a warm and social setting.
In the afternoon, discover Hoi An’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Highlights of your walking tour include the famous Japanese Covered Bridge (currently under renovation, limited access), the Fujian and Phuoc Kien Assembly Halls, and the beautifully preserved Tan Ky Merchant House.
Stroll through lantern-lit alleyways, marvel at the colorful silk lanterns, and soak in the unique atmosphere of this timeless town. You’ll also have the chance to visit a small workshop where you can create your own silk lantern – a meaningful keepsake from your time in Hoi An.
The evening is at your leisure – enjoy the magical light and gentle charm of the town as you wander through its historic streets.
Day 9 – Free Day in Hoi An
Today is yours to spend as you wish.
Optional: Join a private half-day cycling tour through the peaceful countryside surrounding Hoi An, passing rice fields, villages, and quiet riverbanks for an authentic glimpse into rural Vietnamese life.

Days 10 to 12: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Day 10 – Flight to Saigon & Vintage Vespa Street Food Tour
After breakfast, you will transfer to Da Nang Airport for your domestic flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Upon arrival in this vibrant metropolis, your guide will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel for check-in.
In the early evening, a truly special experience awaits: your private Vintage Vespa Street Food Tour. Begin with an orientation ride through the illuminated city center, passing by Saigon’s most iconic landmarks.
Your first stop is at a local café, where you’ll enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and watch the lively rhythm of city life unfold through the eyes of the locals.
The evening continues with visits to some of Saigon’s culinary hotspots, where you’ll sample a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese street food – from the famous Bánh mì and Vietnamese-style pizza to grilled pork BBQ and much more.
Stops in hidden courtyards and bustling alleys give you a glimpse into the everyday life of Saigon’s residents. This tour is designed for food lovers and culture enthusiasts eager to discover not only the rich flavors of Vietnamese cuisine but also the unique urban energy of the city at night.
Day 11 – Chợ Lớn & the Cultural Heritage of Saigon
Today you’ll embark on a fascinating exploration of Chợ Lớn, Saigon’s historic Chinatown.
Travel by traditional xích lô (cyclo) to the bustling Binh Tay Market, where everything from exotic spices to beautifully crafted handicrafts is on offer.
Your next stop is Thuong Lan Ong Street, renowned for its traditional herbal medicine shops. The fragrant scent of dried herbs will accompany you as you stroll through this atmospheric historic street.
You’ll then visit the spiritual heart of the Chinese community in Saigon – the Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea.
After lunch, continue your cultural journey with visits to the History Museum and the Reunification Palace, a significant symbol of modern Vietnamese history.
A short walk takes you to the Central Post Office, a masterpiece of colonial architecture, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral, an elegant neo-Romanesque structure (currently under renovation, exterior viewing only).
On your way back to the hotel, you’ll pass the beautiful Opera House and the Old City Hall.
The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 12 – A Day in the Mekong Delta: Ben Tre Discovery
On your final day in Saigon, you’ll leave the city behind and head into the peaceful countryside of Ben Tre, located in the heart of the Mekong Delta.
A scenic boat ride takes you along the Mekong River, past small villages and vibrant scenes of life on and along the water – from traditional fishing and cargo boats to handmade brick production using ancient methods.
You’ll visit a coconut-processing workshop, as well as a family-run mat weaving facility, where you’ll be offered fresh fruit and tea and gain authentic insights into everyday life along the river.
Continue your journey by motorized cart (xe lôi) or bicycle along shaded country paths, passing vegetable gardens and orchards – a wonderful way to experience the lush, tropical landscape up close.
To end the experience, you’ll glide silently in a sampan boat through the smaller canals of the delta – a moment of peace and connection with nature.
After a local lunch, you return to Saigon in the afternoon.

Days 13 to 15: Mui Ne

From the City to the Coast: Mui Ne Beach Escape
You bid farewell to Saigon and travel to Mui Ne, a charming beach destination on Vietnam’s southeastern coast, known for its golden sand dunes, swaying palm trees, and relaxed atmosphere.
Once a quiet fishing village, Mui Ne has evolved into a beloved retreat for beach lovers, kite surfers, and nature enthusiasts.
Highlights of the region include the dramatic red and white sand dunes, the colorful fishing harbor, and the whimsical Fairy Stream – a shallow river that winds its way through striking rock formations.
With its sunny climate and constant coastal breezes, Mui Ne is ideal for both watersports and peaceful beach getaways.
You will stay here for two nights, giving you time to unwind and enjoy the coastal serenity at your own pace.
