Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman
Upon your arrival in Muscat, you will be greeted with a Prime Class VIP Meet & Greet service, ensuring a smooth and expedited immigration process. You will then be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
The next morning begins with a city tour. Your first stop is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, built by the Sultan to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his reign. It is the fifth-largest mosque in the world and impresses visitors with its intricate ornamentation, a 14-meter-long Swarovski crystal chandelier, and a single handwoven carpet covering the entire men's prayer hall – measuring approximately 4,300 square meters.
Before entering this sacred site, women must cover their décolleté and hair. Both men and women are required to wear long-sleeved clothing and long trousers or skirts.
Transparent or see-through fabrics are not permitted for any visitors.
After the mosque, you will drive through the diplomatic and government district and then arrive in the oldest part of the city.
There, you will visit Bait Al Zubair, a museum that presents Oman’s historical and cultural development in an engaging way.
It houses an impressive collection of traditional costumes, jewelry – especially silver – and antique furniture.
You will then have a photo stop at the Al Alam Palace, located in historic Old Muscat.
This ceremonial palace is a unique example of royal architecture from the 1970s and is flanked by the Portuguese forts Jalali and Mirani, both dating from the 16th century.
The tour continues along the Corniche to the Muttrah Souk, the oldest market in Oman.
Take time to wander through the narrow alleys, filled with the scents of frankincense and sandalwood.
A local merchant will be happy to tell you about the art of perfume making, silver craftsmanship, or the spices of the Orient.
If time permits, you will also stop for photos at the Royal Opera House on the return to your hotel.
The evening is at your leisure.

At a local pottery workshop, you’ll witness how skillful hands and age-old techniques transform clay into beautiful ceramic pieces – a vibrant part of Oman’s living cultural heritage.
Before reaching your final destination for the day, you’ll stop at the lush oasis of Birkat Al Mauz, located at the foot of the mountains.
This region is famous for its traditional falaj irrigation system, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
